I've had good results on my conversion by concentrating
on ducting the air to the bottom part of the radiator below the apron. I'm
only using a standard factory radiator but the engine is mildly tuned. Basically
I've built an aluminium duct panel behind the valance sloping back up to
the radiator - this also helps to keep the underslung oil cooler in the airflow.
The picture shows the aluminium lower radiator duct panel and the
method of supporting the oil cooler on rubber bobbin type mounts. I extensively
used 4 and 6mm dia nutserts during the assembly of the aluminium panel work.

going to be welded.

the top aluminium radiator shroud welded to the slam panel ensuring the maximum
flow of air through the radiator.
