The Cambridge-Oxford Owners Club Invite All owners of Classic & Vintage vehicles to join us for our 2012 Drive it Day Run on Sunday April 22nd. Starting from Malton Market Place at 10.30 am and ending at Thirsk at 4pm this is a gentle drive through the pretty Howardian and Hambleton Hills vis Hovingham, Ampleforth, Coxwold, Kilburn and the White Horse. With a break for lunch in Helmsley and then on via Rievaulx Abbey, Hawnby, Osmotherley and then on to Thirsk via the pretty but often forgotton villages of Silton, Kepwick and Cowesby.

Club displays are very welcome with no limit on size and the event is open to ALL pre 1992 vehicles. Entry fee is just £3 per exhibit and all entry money goes to Marie Curie Cancer Care. Following the success of this years tour of the Highlands and by popular demand we are again heading North 'O the Border for our 2012 club trip. This time the event will start at the ever popular Moffat Classic Car Rally held over the weekend June 23rd & 24th. After the rally on Sunday we shall travel up to Callander and overnight there before driving up to Skye on Monday. We shall spend 3 nights on Skye with some free time to explore the island at your own pace and one optional day tour. Then we shall return to the mainland and spend a couple of nights in the Onich area by Fort William before returning home.

In 2011 this event raised over £7000 for local charities.

Including a full day tour of the best of Snowdonia's stunning scenery, a visit to Port Merion, the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland railways, Llechwedd Slate Caverns, Harlech Castle and much more.
