  • George Raham [TD4224]07 February 2012

    Hi Trevor,
This has been requested before, and the answer given was 3.022 inches or 76.75 mm. I'm not sure where this dimension came from as I could not find it in the WSM. Possibly someone could confirm this for you.

Until I looked at the relevant Driver's Handbook all were guessing about the piping (including me)

by finding a page out of the relevant Driver's Handbook on the internet and posting it here we then all had the accurate answer

by looking at a PDF of the wiring diagram in the relevant Driver's Handbook and the picture of the fusebox I could tell Mathew what the purple wires are usuall...

  • Rik Hogan07 February 2012

Jim, I asked Ben Pender if that was your car and he said it was, so I scanned that page and sent it out to everyone in NABMS.

hey i appreciate the responses guys,

I've kind of made my mind up in terms of attaching the bumpers. I agree the older "fatter" bumpers look better. I've cut the extruding RB mounts but have yet to put in the new grille.

Bernie, you said you bolted the front bumper on? I've looked and can't seem to find a suitable place to bolt them to. And what went into the rear, it looks like you...

  • James B07 February 2012

The 2011 McLaren apparently had a lower front chassis section than its competitors - that has been carried through to the 2012 car, meaning that it did not have to put a step in its nose section like the others to meet the 2012 requirement for a lower front to the nose.

Don't pay too much attention to the test times at Jerez this week - last year the fastest car by some margin was Rubens Ba...

  • 1967 MGB RED

I find it fitting that it was from this site that I found and bought this car in 2002. It has been a joy to own and drive. I've met wonderful people along the way, and enjoyed meeting strangers as they admired the car.

Alas, family changes mean it is time to sell. I'll post pics later, or email me directly.

This is a 1967, in wonderful shape. It has run like a top since day one...
