The MG Club of Brazil is a private, non-profit organization, founded in the city of Sco Paulo, Brazil on December 7, 1983, through the incentive of a small group (12) of enthusiast-owners and collectors of MG cars. The principal finality being the preservation of the MG mark in Brazil, along with the divulging of the Safety Fast spirit characteristic of the make, through the organizing and promoting of sporting and social events.

Due to the small population of MG cars here, the club opened its doors to owners of other makes of classic cars, first to owners of British cars and today it is open to all lovers of classic sports and performance cars, even if not yet owning one, but who cultivate the Safety Fast spirit.

Within the Club's objectives is the maintenance of a Register of the MGs existent in Brazil (principally in Sao Paulo), whit information about the car and its owner. The Club has a library with reference books, workshop manuals, magazines, articles, parts catalogues and also lists of parts suppliers here and outside Brazil.

Among its social and sporting activities, the Club organizes 4 sporting events per year (regularity rallies and a special event at the Interlagos race track), and approximately 20 social events (1 AGM, 4 counsel meetings, 12 monthly meetings, approx. 6 social runs and a annual anniversary Bar-B-Cue terminating the years activities). The monthly meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at a local pizzaria.

The MG Club of Brazil seeks to pass on knowledge to its members, gained from experiences of other MG owners, from the purchase, maintenance and rebuilding of the cars, to the participation in events in and outside Brazil, plus assistance on legislation on classic cars and other topics related to the MG mark and the classic car movement in general.
