MGB GT for sale

Could you please forward this mail to the club mailing list:
Chris Wilkins and I went to Alton ( near Alton Towers) on Sunday to look at an L-reg chrome bumper red MGB GT apparently restored by Paul Depper around 9 yrs ago, garaged and unused since. It was a very viable restoration case. The underbody seemed sound. The visible faults looked like rust in the seam on top of rear n/s wing (which might need replacing) and the chrome surround to the windscreen that needed replacing. The interior would benefit from new carpet and upholstery. Apparently mechanically sound but flat battery so could not hear it running. This car was included in the purchase of a house by its present owner Stephen (Sheila Talbot’s nephew). I believe it could be acquired at a sensible price given that it needs a bit of tlc. Anyone interested should contact me on 07714 233840 and I will refer to the owner.

Cheers
Richard Homer
