Topless to Monaco |

The MGF Register organised a natter a little further south than they are normally used to....The south of France and Monaco to be more precise. The venue was to be the Cafe de Paris in Casino Square Monte Carlo , the time 8pm, the date Saturday 17th September. Those crews attending made their own arrangements to get there, booking ferries and hotels themselves. Each crew planned their own route their some taking longer and some shorter time and distance. There as a prize for the furthest distance to get there which was won by Roger Middleton who complete just over 1,400 miles on the journey down. The shortest distance went to John Ponting with around 800 miles. Further prizes were awarded for challenges set en route from collecting sugar sachets to finding the most expnsive petrol. All crews had booked in to the Columbus Hotel in Monaco, part owned by David Coultard, and arrived in time for the natter on saturday night. The one sight they all wanted to see on the way down was the new Millau Bridge which is now the highest bridge in the world scraping in at just under 1 kilometer high. A pleasant evening on a balmy evening at the Cafe de Paris watching the Ferraris and Rolls Royces drive by made for a great natter. Following obligatory photos on sunday all the crews then split up and made their own way back to England via various routes. More Photos and report can be found HERE
