REGIONS END THE YEAR WITH A COUPLE OF WINTER RUNS As the winter cold snap begins to bite some of the Regional Groups of the MGF Register held their last runs of the year risking muddy cars and fallen leaves. In Wales the SWMGF group held a "Call my Bluff " Run in th4e area between Abergavenny and Hay on Wye known as the Hay Bluff - hence the name !. The 6th November was a wet day particularly in the Wales area and the half a dozen F/TFs that took part took to the hills on roads that often resembled rivers.

Starting at the Halfway House Pub at East Horndon, courtesy of the Essex Roadsters, they set off across country towards the Secret Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch. A couple even started the run with roofs down but that lasted a few moment before the first intermittent shower arrived. Fourteen cars took part enjoying lunch half way round at Finchingfield and they even tested the brain cells with some cryptic clues to decipher before arriving in the Cold War zone.
