Norman Conquest Encore combines a rally which is fun, but challenging, for all ages of vintage and classic cars, with a holiday staying in charming hotels whilst enjoying beautiful scenery.
This year we return to Normandy, an area that is easy to reach via quiet roads with places of interest and gastronomic delights. We start in the south of Normandy at the pretty spa town of Bagnoles-De-L'Orne and then travel northwards to the historic coastal regions around Bayeux and Honfleur. Norman Conquest Encore is for any older car enthusiast who enjoys traditional regularity runs with some amusing surprises along the way. Speed is not the essence, with older cars having a choice of lower speeds more suited to their capabilities. The rally part of the day will take up the morning leaving plenty of time to relax, linger over leisurely meals and explore the attractions of the places that we are visiting.

Norman Conquest Encore starts on Saturday afternoon at H.M.S. Victory, Portsmouth, England, where after scrutineering, signing on and afternoon tea there will be plenty of time to explore part of British history as displayed in the magnificent museum complex. A short drive takes you to the Brittany Ferries terminal to board the evening boat to St. Malo where dinner and a cabin are provided.

Sunday will start with breakfast in the beautiful old walled city of St. Malo followed by a scenic drive to Bagnoles-De-L'Orne. Monday morning sees the competition begin in earnest around the beautiful Normandy countryside. Later in the week we move to Bayeux near the Normandy beaches and then finish near the lovely old fishing port of Honfleur for prize giving and "Le Gala Exceptional".
