Enthusiast owned, British Racing Green, wire wheels. Complete mechanical restoration performed by University Motors Ltd between 2007-2009 including the following: Engine and Transmission complete rebuild, cylinder head: complete rebuild -port/polish, performance valve grind. Performance cam. All ancillaries were either rebuilt or replaced - including new Pertronix ditributor/electronic ignition. Rear springs were rebuilt, replainted and installed with polyurethane bushings. Front rotors were replaced, calipers rebuilt and pads replaced. Four brand new tires. Over $9,000 invested. All receipts are available. The interior is newer as is the carpet. This is a rust free car and the paint looks great at about 15 feet. I've been told that a little touch-up and a color sand would make a huge difference with the paint. The car drives absolutely fantastic.

Listing=This car is an excellent driver, not a show car. I call it an
excellent "20 footer". The paint,interior, and top are all three years old.
The paint was not done to "show" quality and has a few rock chips. There are
no dents and no rust that I am aware of. This car came from Texas and is
very solid. No electrical gremlins, everything works including the original
British Leyland AM/FM radio. The door panels and rear bulkhead have not
been "hacked-up" to install speakers like so many of these old cars have been.
All guages work, 70 psi oil pressure, does not run hot even during 90 deg.
heat. SU HIF-4 carbs (rebuilt), rebuilt distributor, Pertronix Flamethrower
coil, new cap, wires, rotor, etc. Rear shocks converted to Monroe tubular,
Rostyle wheels, 185/70 14 radial tires. Current safety inspection and is
licensed. Only driven on nice days, never in the winter. Stored in a heated

For Sale - 1965 MGB Tourer
For Sale: 1965 MGB, GHN3L64200. OE White/Red interior/Grey top/ wire
wheels. I?ve owned it since 1987, and have excised the demon rust and replaced
with new metal in the late 80?s. Paint (enamel) dates from then, and looks it.
Chrome is original and tired but not rusted. Suspension rebuilt about 10 years
ago (University motors swivels, V8 bushings) and new dampers (World Wide Auto
parts) installed 5 years ago/5000 miles ago), rear brakes rebuilt within past
five years. New Moss leather seats and cushions about 10 years ago.
Currently equipped with a very quick blueprinted/balanced 2 liter B-series motor
built around JE 83 mm pistons and an APT VP14 cam (about 0.400 lift, 270 deg
duration), lightened flywheel, 10:1 calculated compression ratio (needs high
test gas). Baffled sump, high capacity oil pump, ARP studs, ported/polished
head. Engine has about 5000 miles on it; car currently equipped with a
4-synchro OD gearbox. Wheels are 15? knock-off Minilite re
pros (from Moss) (spare is standard 14? wire wheel) shod with Michelin rally
tires; 2 new and 2 good used rally tires included in addition. Sale of the
car includes the original engine (runs well but is tired) and a 3-synchro OD
gearbox (probably needs rebuilding before installing), as well as the hardware
to return the car to its to 3-synchro form, also a roll bar (NOT SCCA-approved)
and skid plate. I?m also willing to discuss sale of the car with its original
engine installed (i.e. the 2 liter motor will not be included), and/ or without
the fancy wheels (you get the standard wire wheels instead) for savings of
signficant $$$. It's been a great car, I'll miss it, and will sell only to an
MGB enthusiast. Car and parts, as described, $15,000. NAMGBR member 1-282.

Car For Sale - 1974 1/2 MGB
I purchased this MGB in a couple of years ago. My wife and I wanted to
start getting back into doing things with the local club but that has never
happened. Too many other things going on. If you are looking to purchase an MGB, you should look at the others in this price range and then come and look at this one. The 1974 1/2 MGBs are unique among MGBs. Built only 3 months in the transition
period, they are factory equipped with the dual SU carbs instead of the
troublesome later installed Zenith-Stormberg carberetor. They also had a red
badge in the front bumper instead of silver. This car has all of those unique
traits. This car has never had any rust, it has never been wrecked, it has never been
repainted. This is the original paint on the car and it is in great condition.
Even with the low mileage on the car, the drivers seat had a tear in it when I
got it. It originally was autumn leaf in color but I am not a fan of that so
everything was changed new to black. Seats have all new foam cushions. I had an
overdrive transmission overhauled and installed in the car. There are new tires
and new Revolution wheels. ALL MGBs of this age, no matter what the mileage is,
suffer from the front suspension bushings breaking down. I have replaced these
with poly bushings. I have also installed a new brake master cylinder.
This car took first place in its class at the last show here. You can find it as
one of the featured cars on the show web site, www.heartlandmgregional.com .
This car is ready to drive, it needs nothing but to be driven.

For Sale - 1974 1/2 MGB
I have a 1974 1/2 MGB for sale. 68,361 original miles. I'm asking $4500 for the car and any parts that I have, but it's negotiable. I have pictures available, but feel free to come check it out in person! The car is in solid shape and will start and run, but will need some fine tuning to run well. It's not a perfect car, but most everything works to my knowledge except the back-up lights (which I have a new switch for) and the radio that came with the car when I purchased it. This car is considered reasonably rare as it was only produced from September of 74 through December of 74. This car is one of the 6521 that were imported to the United States and one of only 7445 1974 1/2 models produced. This may be verified with the VIN #. My father and I worked on this car together in the Pittsburgh area when I first purchased it. When I moved into this area 5 years ago after getting married, I no longer had the time, know-how or desire to do the work and maintenance. Wanted - MGB: Trunk Lid Duffle Bag
A while back, Moss Motors used to offer a soft-sided duffle bag that had straps to allow it's attachment to the trunk lid, in lieu of having a luggage rack. Moss no longer carries this item, but I would like to try to find one (or something similar) before our trip to MG2009 this year. If you have one you'd like to sell, or know where I can purchase something along the same lines as this, please let me know. My wife will appreciate the ability to pack a bit more than on previous excursions in our "B".

For Sale - MG Metro Turbo
MG Metro Turbo...only one of a few known in the USA. Very complete, no excuses car. I have used this car for almost daily transport for the last 2 years. Runs very well, everything works, nothing missing. Quite fast and handles like a go-cart. The suspension has been lowered, brand new (2 months) Superlite 6x13 alloy rims with Sumitomo tires. (original rims available with the car). Interior in like new condition, exterior has had a respray at some point in its life. Rollbar installed Metros were introduced in the UK in the early 1980's and were intended to replace the famous Mini. They use the same drive train, front and rear sub frame setup. They were very successful sellers and actually saved the British car industry. (for the time being anyway!!) There were plain Austin Rover versions, however the MG variants, both the MG Metro and the more powerful MG Metro Turbo were Rovers answer to keep the sporting MG name alive until the new MGF could be introduced. This is the familiar 1275 A-series A+ engine as used on Minis for decades. Please contact me for more photos and info.

Trade for M.G. - 1973 Series 3 Land Rover 88"
Looking to trade my 1973 Land Rover 88" for a like condition MGB or Midget.
