Midget / Sprite 1275 engine
MG Midget or Sprite 12CE series 1275 engine from a 1973 car, so it's a thick flange block, . Complete from sump to rocker cover and crank pulley to flywheel but no ancillaries.
Dry stored some years, still seems sound as the engine turns freely by hand and compression can be felt. Engine # tag is intact so may be still at standard bore.

10cc engine (2" main bearings)
An almost complete engine less cylinder head. Has been bored 20thou and the bores look good but I havn't stripped it totally so it may need rings or even pistons. Crank is 10/10 and looks along with the shells to be good. Comes partially stripped with backplate and flywheel, sump, front cover, side covers etc.

VINTAGE RACE BUGEYE
A move to California is prompting the sale of my 1959 Austin Healey Sprite vintage race car. I am the third owner of the car. The previous owners noted that it has always been a race car. This is confirmed over all condition including an original floor pan and perfect rear spring pockets. It races on an old SCCA log book #84-022 issued in 1973 and listing the last race on 21 September 1974 when it was parked in a shop. I purchased the car in August 1998 and completed a restoration and preparation for vintage racing. This included the addition of a fuel cell, dual brake system, racing seat and roll bar with side protection plus much more. Additional recent improvements included the repair of the hinge pillars and lower rear fenders which had shown some rust bubbles. It has been competing in hill climb and time trial events since 2006 with no DNFs and a clean tech inspections.The sale includes the car, single axle trailer/tie-downs/ramps, a CD with a detailed custom history/shop manual that includes schematics/parts plus spares.
The car is truly turn-key. Just change the fluids, reposition the seat to your comfort and race.
