Backworth Hall is the venue for most Club Nights and Committee Meetings. It was built in 1778 for R W Grey a local landowner. It is now home to the Backworth Hall Miners Welfare with a golf course, bowling green and many other facilities.

Club Nights are the first Wednesday of each month starting at 8pm.

The Committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm.

Backworth Hall is on Station Road, Backworth, just off the A19 at the A191 Holystone roundabout.
