MG Northumbria is one of the largest areas within the MG Owners Club, with almost 80 members, stretching from the Scottish Borders down through County Durham and west along the Tyne Valley.

We are an active Club and, as well as our regular meetings at Backworth Hall on the first Wednesday of each month, we hold regular pub runs, social nights, treasure hunts, hill climbs, navigation rallies, etc. We also attend static shows with our ‘Club Stand’.  We organise our own classic car show and hold our annual Run in September, with cars attending both events from all over the UK.

Our annual subscription of £8 covers you and your family, no matter how many cars you may have, a monthly newsletter and an annual events calendar.  Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in classic cars.

Prospective new members wanting more information should contact any member of the Committee.

We are a friendly bunch of people, who enjoy using our cars, and we feel that we cater for not only the MG owner or enthusiast, but the whole family as well.

If you are thinking of joining  the Club please come along and meet us.
