Tuesday 18 February was our monthly club meeting and fourteen members were present - plus a new face from Hebden Bridge. Various runs were discussed and hopefully members will be attending some of them - Kimber Run on 6 April, Shakedown Run on 6 April, Harrogate Northern National on the weekend of 9 and 10 August, Jorvik Run on 18 May and the Dales Trail on 18 May. Much was made of Bury MGOC's Inaugural Black Pudding Run - so thanks very much for everyone who is supporting that! This year, the Classic Car Show at Towneley is on Sunday 10 August. We now have 70 bookings for the 11th Pendle Run, so it looks like being filled within the next couple of months. Once again, it looks like this popular event is going to be very well attended and hopefully the sun will shine down on us all! Unfortunately Enid and David couldn't make the meeting due to illness and comments were made about their recent love-nest weekend at Whoop Hall. Perhaps this is the real reason why they weren't with us? Finally, John and Jose's B is now back on the road and has made a tour of the Lake District. So we hope to see more of that and less of the yellow peril at forthcoming runs! Neil W - 19 Feb 2003
