Comments about the new tool rolls:
I got two rolls from Paul Barrow. One is mine and one other is for Fumio. Fumio
has owned a ZB for about 30 years and he joined last year's meeting at Norwich.
Next day after meeting, he visit Lou's office and saw original tool roll.
I gave him a new tool roll and he said this shape and material is same as the
original, hessian backed. He is delighted and satisfied.
I also like this reproduction, satisfied to get one. It's natural hessian. This
reproduction feel like very classic. Shape is same original.

Sometimes it is worth waiting a long time. So with the tool rolls for which we had to wait nearly a year. The result is simply perfect. A must for every Concours entry and also collector. While you have this tool roll you can start collecting tools to spent your time useful!

I read your story about Paul's Magnette tool rolls and was thinking about divine intervention
as mine had been recently exposed to an excessive amount of battery acid by a repair shop. Using your link, I e-mailed Paul and got more informaiton and decided to purchase one. The
turnaround time was quick (4days from the U.K. to Canada!) and I'm very pleased with the
quality of workmanship and materials used. I'm glad that there are people willing to take the
initiative, time and money to go out and get rare parts reproduced and made available to
those of us who need these parts for our treasures. We all should give Paul a hearty thank you
for undertaking this endeavor! Now I only have to get a few tools to have the roll full! Thank you for creating a wonderful web site and continueing to update it with interesting information!
