KA A 13 13688 Steve Wagoner's Magnette is a home market (RHD) car and in very solid shape with a nice interior. It hasn't been run in around 15 years. It was brought over here 15 years ago by the previous owner and then he got involved in a divorce- the car sat until he purchased it 3 years ago.  It still has its original
registration YPL416.

KA A 13 13863 I bought this car in 2004 - a 1500cc ZA. I have since fitted seat belts, disc brakes, flashing indicators, a 1900 MGB engine and a Ford type 9 5-speed gearbox, in order to use it as my everyday transport. It's original registration SHP 282 was transferred to another car long before I bought it.

KA E 13 13902 'Purchased this ZA on 28th September 2011. It was first registered in Jersey on 6th April 1956 and has remained in the Island throughout its life. I am the fifth owner. It was completely professionally restored by the owner prior to me, starting in 1996. Since then it has covered only 483 miles, so due to lack of use is presently being recommissioned. A truly magnificent example of this lovely model'.

KA B 43 14688 I bought it three years ago in boxes - two previous owners had disassembled it and done some body work and applied an incorrect Varitone paint scheme. I assembled enough to get it operational and rebuilt the brakes and converted it with the help of the Hints and Tips section to negative ground and an alternator. I have to build a complete interior for it and I want to add a Hi-Gear 5 speed kit. My son and I are having a lot of fun with it now. John D Perkins
KA B 13 14714 Paul Batho owns his Magnette since the seventies and has done many trips with her. The picture shows his car with Celia Palmer, daughter of Gerald Palmer, who designed the Magnette, in front of her fathers house, which he also designed.
KA D 13 14758 Steel blue ZA with white roof. Looked much better than duotone sprayed none-Varitones! Scrapped by webmaster during winter 98/99.

KA J 13 16339 I have been a register member since June 1982 when I bought this Twilight Grey ZA from the original owner. Now I have owned the car longer than he did and added a few small adventures. The car was registered in Gosport where I bought it and has resided in the Worthing area since then. Restoration work was done by the Shortens in the late 80s and has served over the years both as family transport and of the focus of summer outings when our sons were small. In the 90s the car was seen regularly at register events when I served as first competition secretary then chair of the register. Her last overseas trip was to the Champagne region for our 25thanniversary, and we have added 10 more years of very little use since then! She doesn t get out much these days, but she makes a once a year pilgrimage to the Goodwood Revival in September, surely the biggest period fancy dress party in the world. The picture is from the 2009 event.

Ka T 23 17249 This ZA turned up on the internet in Vitoria, Australia. The car sold for AU$1050.00 to unknown purchaser and seemed to be complete if not a little untidy. (5/2009)
KA T 23 17261 The picture was taken on the Albula Pass (Canton of Grisons, Switzerland) at an altitude of about 2100 m. The car is an exellent climber and until now I never had problems with overheating, not even on the Stelvio, with more than 2800 m the peak of all European passes.
The car was first registred in Basel, Switzerland, on October 1st, 1956 as a RHD export version. During the fifties it was not unusual to drive RHD cars in Switzerland. The car always remained in Switzerland, having a extensive restauration in the early eighties. Since then the various previous owners did not use the car often, so it is still in perfect condition and very reliable.

KA T 13 17271 After years of storage I've finially got a house with a garage again and have retrieved my ZA from a lockup.  I was given the car in about 1984 from someone in Farnborough in Hampshire.  I have restored most of the car and hope to complete witin the next years. KA L 43 17758 Magnette The car was an export model purchased in the UK by its original owner with the intention of exporting back to the US. I purchased the car from the estate of a wealthy doctor who used it as his summer car on Long Island, NY. I am its second owner. Apart from a re-spray it has never been restored. I guess he got tired of the original grey - I would too as it is a bit drab! The car was always pampered and has so little rust it's unbelievable. I won't ever restore it as I love the original patina, but now I too am thinking about a slight change of colour. Fashions change you know. Eric Wilson,Vancouver, BC,Canada

KA T 32 17802 I am sending photos of the " before and after" restoration project of the MG. Actually I brought the MG back to its original condition and thereafter neglected it very unfortunately. I have however started the Re - Restoration of same and I hope to finish it and have it road worthy once again by the end of the year. You will see from the pic's it was a major job that I performed the first time round. This time however the magnitude is far less I am sure.
