5.5J WIDE WHEELS FOR Z TYPES MAGNETTE Set of 4 good condition TR6 wheels suitable for Z Magnettes. These look very similar to the original magnette wheels but are 5.5J allowing for wider tyres. They look like they have never been refurbished but will need painting to look their best. I bought these for a rally car but never fitted them. I also have the TR6 centers which could easily have a MG logo stuck over the TR6 badge. I can email photo's. Collection from Kent only.

1954 Magnette ZA MG Green
This is a very nice early tintop car.12 month MOT. It is very solid with only some very minor rust on one wheel arch. Chrome is all present ann most is very good though the boot lamp could do with re chroming as could one of the door spikes. Fitted with disc brakes, 4:3 diff, MGA+ spec 1500 engine ( rebuilt 1800 3 bearing engine also available. Re-veneered wood. The original seats have been replaced (available but needs the seat base outside quarter panels replacing) with those from a Rover 600 and colour matched to match the rear. Negative earth with alternator and electronic ignition. New tyres The worst bits are that the paint does not stand up to close inspection. It looks fine from 3 feet away! The rear section of the headlining needs renewing due to a small amount of rot. The rest is excellent and original.All original parts are available. £4700ono

Z Magnette Headers for sale
The Magnette headers/exhaust mainfold/extractor were designed to clear the steering column on left hand drive cars, but will work on right hand drive cars just as well. They will work with 1500, 1600, 1622 or 1800 B series motors in conjunction with the stock transmission, 4 synco MGB, 4 syncro with over drive MGB or Ford Sierra 5 speed conversions. The Wolesley 15/50 uses the same basic body and engine, but may require light modification, including dual carbs. It may also fit the Farina Magnette's, and many other English cars that use the B series motor.
The outer pipes are equal length. The center pipe is larger diameter and longer length. The exit pipe is 1 3/4inch inside diameter. I built several prototypes and chose this final design, as it was the best over all. It gives an excellent increase in bottom end and a good increase in midrange and top end also. The power increase means fist gear is almost unneeded, even with a taller geared car.
