Z-Magnette Day 2004

Dear Magnette Friends

As you know, we will have our Z-Magnette-Day meeting this year near Hamburg . It starts on Friday, 25th  June until Sunday 27th June. 
The "campground" is close to a Kindergarten, where we can use the playground for the kids (and maybe another lesson in cricket?-GG-). There are modern washing and shower facilities.
But you can stay in a hotel as well. 
There is a very nice Hotel not far from the campground: It's called the "Storchennest" (Tel.: +49 4171 8880, website: www.hotel-storchennest.com. If you book with the keyword "Oldtimermeeting Hoopte" and mention my name the hotel-manager gives you a special price: If we are more than 5 parties  in the hotel, the double-room will cost 68 Euro per night. Otherwise it costs 77 Euro. The Hotel is located in Winsen/Luhe, a small city close to Hoopte, where we have our meeting. Hoopte itself  is located 30 minutes south of Hamburg on the river Elbe. There is a ferry to the other side of the Elbe, which we will use for our tour to Hamburg.

 Breakfast and the barbecue will be in a small pub nearby. For those who arrive on Friday: We will have dinner at a fish-restaurant called  "Grubes Fischerhütte", a few hundred yards from the campground away. The restaurant is a special place, well known for "all you can eat" offers. So don't eat after breakfast that day!

If you arrive on Saturday, it's not a problem at all. We will start to a short rally around the area and on Sunday, I'm planing a "trip around the world on railways" - but you don't have to leave Hamburg harbour. But that is a surprise.

For those, who join the meeting for the whole weekend, the price is appr. 35 Euro per person. This includes breakfast and barbecue on Saturday and camping for three nights. I am just planing the details and doing the calculation. When I know more, I will let you know.
