Here are four pictures from Lou Shorten of George Purdie and his MG Magnette ZBV JSS 251. George has done much, if not all of the work himself despite being confined to a wheel chair and with no expectation of ever driving the car. In recognition of his outstanding Perseverance and Determination, Lou and John made a special award to George, in his absence from the Norwich Gala. Everyone agreed at the time without a doubt that George should be sincerely congratulated for his hard work and stunning results. Lou said, "It make you very humble when you realise that he has done much of the work himself. He should be justly proud of his achievement and we should take our hats off to him!" I think we all agree with you Lou, very well done George.
