Norwich 2001

On August 19th Lou Shorten organised her annual event in Norwich on the Royal Norfolk Showground. After her big success last year with 54 Magnettes everybody was wondering whether she could top it - she did !
No less than 56 Magnettes in all colours and conditions arrived. Unfortunately three cars had a breakdown on their way to the showgroun, otherwise there would have been 59!.
The weather was ok on Friday, and on Saturday the sun came out to escort the Z's on their scenic run organised by the Register. Those more interested in old steam visited the North Norfolk Railway in Sheringham.
Sunday was the main day with all the Magnettes on display. Unfortunately the weather changed and as you can see on the following pictures heavy showers fell every few minutes.
