Z Magnette Day 2011
Another chapter of the Z Magnette Day "history" has been written. It was
Christine & Radboud Meijerink, who invited us to Winssen in the Netherlands.
They found a beautiful small campsite, where those who prefer a bed could rent a
hut, while the others stayed in their tent.
Friday afternoon was sunny and we all hoped for a good weekend, when we sat in
the garden. But Saturday morning looked dull and it was raining all day. Luckily
we have saloons with a heater. The route led us into a nature reserve and we can
only guess how lovely it looks on a sunny day. But we enjoyed it anyway. And the
rainman at least had some sympathy for us and stopped the rain during the BBQ!
Sunday looked much better and we drove another scenic tour along very small
roads with more bicycles than other cars to the Walwijk Autojumble. A big Dutch
event with all sorts of English Cars. There were hundreds even rare cars like
Armstrong Siddely or Maestros (ok, I shouldn't name them together). And yes, the
sun was shining then!
Here are the first pictures:
