Report & pictures by Loz Scott, Geelong MG Car Club, Australia

This is a beaut map provided for our scenic route to Sorrento. Sorrento is a reasonable distance from the Melbourne club room and caters for a pleasant drive.Of note is Sorrento is a terminal for the cross port ferry to Queenscliff

This is our starting point at the club rooms. Not all cars have arrived but this new acquisition by John Hastie is having electical problems and resolution team lead by Paul Vermont is close to solving the fault

Our coffee stop at an updated old style General store was very welcome; it was so popular that our cars could not group up and had to park where ever they could.

View of our very nice eating area. The very nice Steel Blue ZB belongs to Brian Florrimell. Brian was one of the additional two Z Magnettes to meet us there.
Featured in this photo is Len Dawson [seated] who planned, booked and helped coordinate our outing. Len drew our beaut guide map [it's worth taking a second look at just for what has gone into it]
We have all arrived opposite Sorrento Park. Our numbers are now two Y types and nine Z Types. To reinforce what a great family car our Sedans are just look at our members young families.
Here are some of our table setups in Sorrento Park. Its a very pleasant park and well worth the trip. Len also book great weather. My ZB and a fellow Y type enjoyed the ferry trip across the bay to bring the outing full circle.
