In 2006 it was the French club who organised the "Event of the
year". The club itsself is very young but has several hundred members meanwhile
and did a great job. Everybody could feel the relaxed atmosphere and the
happiness of the French that so many cars attended.
Four Magnettes (two from France, one British and my German car) took part. It
seemed Magnettes are very unknown to the public - but loved! Many people (and
owners of other M.G.s) looked at them and were interested in the cars.
The meeting itself went smooth from Thursday to Sunday. During the first days
you could do trips around the area, while over the weekend we assembled at the
Charade-racecourse. I would say it's the Nürburgring en miniature. It was
located in the mountains and the course went up and down with many bents. Fun to
drive!
