Purchased by Mr. R. Kerslake, an Australian who travelled to England, picked the car up and then travelled Europe, I have the service dockets from Interlarken, Monte Carlo etc. The car has been in continual use since it arrived back in Australia in December 1958, at least one restoration in the late seventies changed the color from the original green to a deep maroon. My wife and I purchased the car back in 1991 and used it as a daily driver until the fuel tank leaked and turned the old bomb into literally an old bomb! Since taking it off the road I've restored her with a sporting feel, lowered suspension, minilite copy wheels, custom inlet and exhaust and a balanced and blueprinted engine (hand built by a retired Abington mechanic). In the near future I hope to run in rally's and do some historical racing, (or will I fit the Nissan 5speed first?).
