The MG Car Club Y
Type Register have appointed Peter Vielvoye as Chairman. the following is a
press release from David Pelham, their PR Officer.
At the Y-Type
Register Committee Meeting held on Wednesday 29th April 2009, the Register
Committee co-opted Peter Vielvoye onto the Committee and appointed him to the
vacant post of Chairman of the Register for the current year. Peter will hold
the post until the next AGM of the Register in March 2010.
Peter offered
his services as Chairman after attending this year's Register AGM. Peter owned a
YB in the 1960’s and acquired his current YT in 2001. Peter has attended all of
the Spring Runs including the Riverside picnic in 2002 and is also an active
member of the Gloucestershire MG Owner’s Club.
We welcome him
to the Committee and we know that he looks forward to meeting up with other Y
Owners at the Register's Spring Run and Annual Dinner on 9th /10th May 2009.
