March 2005 A highly
amusing entry (entry 133) to the guestbook today from Mike Anderson of
Australia - former Y owner. Worth taking a look at as I am sure we can all
relate to most of his story, if quite not the bit about the policeman!
Thank you Mike, please continue to enjoy the site and one day maybe another Y
will find its way into your garage!

March 2005 March is already upon us! For those who
hibernated their cars over the Northern hemisphere winter, now is the time to
start thinking of waking them up and preparing for the Spring Run in the UK.
Fortunately here in the Pacific North West they do not use salt on the roads (a
chemical de-icer is used instead) so my YA has already seen some action in the
last few days, however I run it throughout the winter any way.
As regular visitors will know, we normally bring you one
Reprinted Article a month. However, on
that basis it would have taken well into 2009 to exhaust the current stock of
articles already prepared to release, so it has been decided to release two a
month - one at the start and one half way through. In view of the current
climate in the UK, and the impending winter season in the Southern hemisphere,
perhaps an early article on "Fitting a Smiths Heater" by one W. E. Blower would
be appropriate. Unfortunately I have not been able to trace either the
date or the original publication, however it is assumed to be some time in the
early 1950s.
This Month's Picture of the Month is provided
by Colin Essex of Coventry and goes back in time to the MG Saloon Day,2003.
