January Pub Run Well Attended

Apparently an epidemic of cabin fever struck the MG Car Club Southwestern Ohio Centre on January 20th, 2008; bringing out thirty plus members to the Pub at the Greens in Beavercreek for the club's first Pub Run of the Year. The club had the entire restaurant to itself, as it was closed to the general public for employee appreciation day. Click on the photo above to see photos taken by Dave McCann Jr.:

Here are a few pictures taken at the 15th Annual All British Car Show at Boca Raton Florida on 17 Feburary 2008. There were probably 125 cars at the show and it is billed as the largest British Car Show in South Florida, so you can see how small it is compared to our show. Click on photo to see more:

Club Trailer Stripping Party a Success

Thanks go to Terry and Carole Looft for opening their workshop to the club on Sunday February 24, 2008 to strip the club trailer in prepartion for body finishing and painting. As you'll see in the photos, there was lots of help and the trailer got stripped to bare metal. Filler was added in July. Click on photos to see more:

Phil Johnson got Married

On Saturday July 19, 2008, at 11:30am at Trinity United Church of Christ in Miamisburg, Sandy Lunte & Phil Johnson tied the knot in a Hawaiian theme wedding. A reception followed at the historic Baum Opera House.

Trailer Bondo-2, the Sequal

A second trailer bondo work party was held at the Looft shop, preparing the trailer for finish sanding and painting by club member Jimmy Cooley. The trailer was painted and made the trip to the NAMGAR Regional in Key West FL, April 21-25, 2009
