Tech Tips


Release wing nuts from windscreen	Release centre clip (1600 models only)	Raise hood to release tension

Release turnbuckles and the "lift dots"	Pull fabric to rear to release from two "hooks"	Seat belt in raised hood position (optional extra)

Release locking pin and pass belt around frame	Unclip side screen envelope and fold back	Collapse the hood frame

Pull all material clear of frame	Fold hood as shown along the seams.Do not crease the side windows (Place a soft cloth between windows to avoid scratching)	Fold rear window over the front rail

Move folded hood forward to locate behind seats	Push folded hood back as far as possible	Remove side screens and stow in the envelope cranked brackets to rear of car (for clarity, this photo shows bracket facing forward)
