If you ran an event they missed please get in touch with them @ mgcarclub_mgaregistrar@hotmail.com . They are looking for reports by the end of this year if possible.

Here we are with a new website layout which should show correct in different browsers and screen resolutions. Something that makes us webmasters sleepless nights. Although it should be easier to navigate for you as well. Hope you like it. Your comments are welcome!
Another new feature is our newsletter service. Subscribe for the MGA newsletter and you get an mail when we update! Never miss any information!

In fact this layout is the 1600 Mk II in MGA terms. Do you remember the original 1500 run by Andy Sargant? It started in the late '90s I suppose

Then came  the "new 1600" in 2002 :

and now after only three years we are here. Hope this lasts a bit longer ;-) But aAfter doing the redesign I'm more afraid to do a redesign on my Magnette-website than I was before...
But if you enjoy it's worth the work!

MGA at Le Mans by Brian Moylan

Brian Moylan has produced an excellent 16page A4 booklet on MGA at Le Mans 1955. He has used photo's from the CD I produced and written text to go with them. It sells for £2.50 plus £1.00 P&P (or 3.50 euros plus 1.50 euros P&P) direct from him at 29 Abingdon Road, Drayton, Oxon, OX14 4HW, or for more details email brianmoylan(a)waitrose.com or telephone 077813 553683.
He has only produced a limited number, 250 I believe, so place your order quickly.

Going to LeMans...

1513 WJ 1500cc  BUILT 1959 was originally in the Showroom at Longbridge from march to june 1959. I have tried to restore to original condition retaining as many parts as possible especially as it was a basket case when bought !!   Roger C Parry

Here is a picture of my car.  It has a 1840cc fast road three bearing MGB engine with a Ford Type 9 five speed gearbox.  This makes for a perfect touring car, especially for tips to Le Mans.

I thought the new F1 season would start as boring as it ended last year. But our MG friends in Oz created a highlight when they drove the pilots around the circuit in their MGAs!
