The 2005 MGA Register Round Tour of Britain By Stuart Mumby
Lavishly illustrated with more than 150 full colour photographs and covering
255 pages, this is the definitive story of one of the major Golden Jubilee
events to take place in 2005 to celebrate the 1955 launch of the MGA. The
book is in three parts, the first part being the author’s story of two weeks
on the road and a journey of some 2,700 miles. In Part Two many of the
participants give their own views of the event and Part Three is packed with
details of each car that took part and its driver and navigator. Also
included is a reproduction of the complete road book that the participants
used, just in case you missed the event and want to do your own re-run.

This is a strictly limited, non-profit edition and will be printed to order.
To order your copy send a cheque for £42.00 (£35.00 + £7.00 packing and
insured postage) to: Stuart Mumby, The Lodge, Town Street, Shiptonthorpe,

quoted price. If the number of orders fails to reach the required level you

A very big thank you form me to those who endured a very wet weekend in
Northants. My special moment was seeing Roger and Mike trying to explain to
a Frenchman what "Completly knocked down" means.
Attached is a picture of Terry Drinkwater getting off the start line in the
morning practice for the sprint event, then disappearing into the mist.

On the events page you'll find a flyer about the
EX 181 visit. This is likely to be well attended, Peter Neal (ex MG Design
Dept, see page 6 in your yearbook) is bringing a group of about 30 former MG
"apprentices".
Also added a new link to
nice old MGA racers pics...
