MGA 1600 WIRE WHEEL CONVERSION
I have a 1600 wire wheel conversion. Also have a front disc brake conversion. The w/w conversion consists of the rear axle & front Hubs. The disc brake conversion includes rotor, mounting plate, back plate&NEW PISTONS. The Calippers will need to be completely rebuilt. I will sell the w/w separate from the disc brakes. Everything is still on the car, which is located in Central Northern MD.

Rebuilt MG MGA Twin Cam Gearbox
Recently rebuilt/restored MG MGA Twin Cam Gearbox (MOWOG B-Series S/N M2993). Ready to install with 0 miles since rebuild. This IS a Twin Cam gearbox and is fitted with Standard (NOT close-ratio) gears. It was rebuilt with new: synchros, layshaft, gear springs, selector springs, seals, gaskets, rear mount bushing, Woodruff keys, vent cap, stainless steel cotter pins, and more. All gears, thrust washers, and bearings are in very good used condition. The input shaft is 10-spline, as it should be. The gear shift lever has a pair of ½ long scratches through the chrome. 1960 MKI MGA for sale, rebuilt engine, needs someone to finish!
1960 MKI MGA, Rolling restoration, good driver. $6500
I bought this MGA a couple of years back as a car that had been hauled back from the western states in a moving van. It was in pieces. The previous owner had a 1500cc motor in it that had some problem, so he decided to pull it off the road and disassemble it for restoration. This is as far as he got. I bought the car in pieces and set about to putting it back together.
The car was in need of a new engine and freshening of the synchros in the trans. The floorboard rails needed replacing and the whole car needed to be put back together.
This I did,and you can see the results on a photobucket page that I have documenting the whole thing.

For now, here are a few. Drives great, needs finishing.
I got to the point with this car where I rebuilt the motor and freshened the trans, put it all back together and now it needs paint.
She is waiting for the right person to finish the job.
