We serve food Wednesday & Sunday Lunch from 12:00 to 2:30
Wednesday Thursday Saturday Night 6:00 to 9:30 is Black Rock Grill & Bar Menu
Friday Night is Denise’s home made Pie & Peas

Landlord's Choice Evening 2010

A successful Landlord's Choice Evening with MGs ranging from the 1970s to the 2000s gave Landlady Denise and her staff a hard task in choosing the winners. 5th Bob Welch's MGA 'EAS854';

Weekend in Telford

We had a great weekend away in Telford visiting places of interest around that area. (The famous Ironbridge above). We stayed at a Premier Inn Travel Lodge (complete with Beefeater Restaurant) for Friday Saturday and Sunday nights returning home on Spring Bank Holiday Monday

Appleby Froddingham Railway Visit
Saturday 17 July 2010

Carl is organising a visit to Appleby Froddingham Railway Preservation Society (www.afrps.co.uk) at 1.00 p.m. on Saturday 17 July 2010 for a ride on the steam train to tour the Corus Scunthorpe steelworks. The free trip lasts for 2 hours and has a commentary plus a stop to buy tea and cakes at the engine shed during the tour. Donations are requested for the upkeep and running of the train. The trip must be pre-booked with Carl - email or call 07881 956582 evenings.

2009 Landlord's Choice at Scotton:

Wednesday 22nd July was the date for the Landlord's Choice at the Three Horseshoes. A good selection of MGs meant judging was difficult for Landlord John.

Our photographers were busy with their cameras capturing the MGs lined up in all their glory.
