| My neighbour has asked me to advertise her car for sale as follows: Beautiful 1972 (road tax free) MGB Roadster in Green with black interior & cloth seats. Rebuilt on new body shell in 1993, work at that time included new petrol tank, petrol pump & pipework, brakes, servo & pipes, exhaust, starter motor, road springs, bumpers, grill, door locks, quarter lights, hood & frame + many other parts. Replacement engine, gearbox & back axle were all reconditioned units. A new radiator was recently fitted. |

| 1961 Red 1600cc Fixed Head Coupe Recent brakes & calipers. MOT June 2011. Full rebuild. Owned over 30 years. Very good condition. The radiator was re-cored in 2006 and a new dynamo was fitted shortly after. The body work is not bad for the car's age but the driver's seat requires attention. It runs well and pulls up smartly and in a straight line. |

Virtually new clutch for MGB
Only about 100 miles from new (new clutch fitted, slipped badly after several miles, then had to change engine after problems with this developed, so fitted another clutch as a precaution [original problem diagnosed as old flexible acting as non-return valve])

| This vehicle was built by me for my own use, using a new heritage shell supplied by MGB Hive. The engine was stripped re-bored, crank ground and rebuilt replacing all necessary parts, hardened valve inserts were fitted to the head for un-leaded petrol, new rocker shaft & arms, carbs overhauled, oil cooler fitted with thermostat and oil feed mod to rocker gear. New fuel pump fitted. New radiator & Kenlow electric fan. The gearbox bearings were replaced & all gears checked. Box rebuilt with new seals & gaskets. New clutch inc master & slave cyls. The rear axle ½ shaft bearings changed and new higher ratio crown wheel & pinion fitted. The steering rack was overhauled, new kingpins, wishbones, & all suspension bushes, shock absorbers, rear springs. The brakes were fitted with new master cyl., pipes & flex hoses. Calliper seals & new rear cyls. New hood with new carpets, seat foams. A roll over bar was built and fitted, new seat belts. The wings were removed from the shell and treated along with the underside, with stoneguard, prior to painting the whole shell inside & out using high quality cellulose paint, followed by extensive injection of waxoyle. All the wiring was checked & overhauled as necessary, wipers converted to, two speed, and indicators, to electronic flasher unit. Starter & alternator overhauled. The speedometer was recalibrated to suit new diff ratio. New tyres (spare not used to date) New & Full MOT will be arranged on purchase. Invoices, photos of rebuild available for inspection. |
