Drive Your Classic Day

	Following the very successful day at Gunby Hall in 2008, Lincolnshire Centre organised another "Drive Your Classic Day" event, this time to Doddington Hall, which is to the West of Lincoln city. Participants chose to drive in from Grantham, Spalding, Boston or Brigg, arriving at Doddington Hall from 11 am. Sheila's photo (left) shows Norman and Heather with their MGB Roadster on it's first trip out for a while ready to leave Tesco's Supermarket, Boston, for the Social Drive to Doddington. 2009 saw us all sporting sunglasses instead of the umbrellas of 2008!
After signing in and parking the 70 MGs and classic cars, everyone wandered around the gardens searching for clues to the Treasure Hunt, toured the House and enjoyed lunch in the Little House or Farm Shop Cafe. There was a lot of socialising and discussion about where the clues were with several of us getting very fit with the distances covered!
