Autotest Sample Information
THESE ARE SAMPLE AUTOTEST COMPETITORS INSTRUCTIONS.
FINAL INSTRUCTIONS WITH ???? COMPLETED APPROPRIATE TO THE RELEVANT EVENT WILL BE ISSUED ON THE DAY.

Final instructions to competitors
- Diagrams of the layout of the tests are attached – NOT to scale.
- There will be a lunch break for one hour at ??pm or as determined by the Clerk of the Course. The afternoon session will start promptly after the hour break.
- All entrants will have a practice run on each test layout followed by ?? timed runs on each layout. All entrants will complete, in total, at LEAST ?? timed runs to give their overall score.
- The sequence of test layouts is (?????????).
- Tests will be timed and each second taken between start and finish lines will be points against the competitor, the start to be taken with competitors front wheels on the start line. Timing will be taken to a flying finish over the finish line and where any part of any tyre reaches the baulk line a 10 second penalty for that test will be incurred.
- All continuous lines denote driving forward and all dotted ones in reverse.
- There will be a 10 second penalty for striking a marker or pylon.
- Any competitor failing to stop astride a line where so required will incur a 10 second penalty.
- Any competitor failing to complete a test or executing it in an incorrect order will incur 30 seconds penalty plus the fastest time of the competitor in the same class completing the test correctly.
- Provisional results will be announced after checking at the end of the tests.
- Awards will be made as detailed on the Additional Supplementary Regulations.
Notes
- This event is being held on private ground for which the owner’s permission has been obtained but the organisers do not accept any responsibility for incident caused to or by anyone competing, marshalling, spectating or being otherwise in attendance.
- Any competitor whose membership fees remain upside will be ineligible for any awards and will forfeit any points scored towards the Annual Trophies.
- Please ensure you do not leave any litter
- Competitors should comply with instructions given by officials. Please remember that they are contributing their time so that you can take part in this event – your civility will be appreciated.
Any competitor attempting practice manoeuvres in the paddock or immediate surrounding area including the test sites, or any other driving which is considered dangerous by the organisers will be excluded from the event immediately and after a second offence will be excluded from all future events.

Final instructions to competitors
- A layout of the test area is attached – NOT to scale.
- Each competitor will have two timed practice runs and then at least 5 further timed runs. The times taken on the practice runs will not count towards the final score.
- There will be a break for lunch at ??pm.
- All tests will be timed and each second taken between start and finish lines will be points against the competitor, the start to be taken with competitors front wheels on the start line. Timing will be taken to a flying finish over the finish line and where any part of any tyre reaches the baulk line a 10 second penalty for that test will be incurred.
- There will be a 5 second penalty for striking any marker or pylon.
- Any competitor failing to complete a test or executing it in an incorrect order will incur 20 seconds penalty plus the fastest time of the competitor in the same class completing the test correctly.
- To be classed as a finisher, competitors must complete not less than three timed runs and must hand their score card to officials within 15 minutes of all other competitors completing the final test.
- Awards will be made as detailed on the Additional Supplementary Regulations.
Notes
- This event is being held on private ground for which the owner’s permission has been obtained but the organisers do not accept any responsibility for incident caused to or by anyone competing, marshalling, spectating or being otherwise in attendance.
- Whilst the provisional result is being assessed, competitors are requested to assist with retrieval of cones and dismantling of the marquee. The provisional results will be announced when the site has been made tidy.
- Any competitor whose membership fees remain unpaid will be ineligible for any award.
- Please ensure you do not leave any litter.
- Competitors should comply with instructions given by officials. Please remember that they are contributing their time so that you can take part in this event – your civility will be appreciated.
