Sheila Laurence was busy with her camera while the sun was still shining and the rape seed fields made a magnificent backdrop even if those of us with 'hayfever' found them somewhat tiresome . . .

Social Drive 14 June 2010




	The Stop at South Ormsby to allow everyone to catch up . . .
A beautiful sunny June evening and over twenty MGs arrived at the Abbey Lodge, keen to explore the lovely Lincolnshire scenery. John & Sheila Laurence had found some gorgeous areas in the Lincolnshire Wolds including the Bluestone Heath Road near Cadwell Park and Scrivelsby Deer Park near Horncastle. A puncture en route for Nigel and Sandra Petch saw them meeting the rest of the group when they endeavoured to catch up! The sunsets were extroardinary as Sheila's photos show . . .

Landlord's Choice - Monday 10 May 2010 A cool evening, but it WASN'T raining! Richard Sivill was busy with his camera and Landlord Chris Boddy and his sons, Connor and Max were busy deciding which MG they would most like to own . . . Once the decisions were made Landlady Emma presented the rosettes.

The Winner! Chris couldn't resist John Hebb's MGTF LE500 . . . he loved the colour, the front, the back . . . I see another MG purchase coming on!

The Marque of Friendship

MG Friends getting stuck in to find the problem causing the "flapping noise" under John & Sheila's MGF . . .	The source of the problem is found! Now the alternator belt is 80% of it's former self!

Thanks to everyone on the second Social Drive from the Abbey Lodge on Monday 10 August, but especially Dave Gosling, David Stonehouse and Nigel Haines for their expertise.
