Jul ?? - MG Car Club - LIC Pool Party at Mrs. Storrs’ beautiful estate. Meet at the Cold Spring Harbor train station at 10:30 AM for socializing. We will then head off on a scenic tour of the North Shore until we arrive at the Storrs Estate. If you haven’t been to one of these parties yet, why not? There will be plenty of food for all - snacks, burgers, dogs, salads and, of course, dessert. The event is limited to 60 people. Members $7 per person and their children under 12 years old free, non member guests $13, ages 10-18 $10, 4-9 $7, under 4 free. Date to be announced.
Aug 18 - Euro-Sunday Alternative Ride. MG Car Club—Long Island Centre. Meet at 9:00am at the parking lot off the Bell Blvd exit of the Cross Island Pkwy. This is a 140-mile tour through the beautiful roads of lower New York State, with a stop at Fort Montgomery, near the Bear Mountain Bridge. Sep 16 - Vanderbilt Concours d’Elegance and All-Marque Concours Sanitaire Presented by the MG Car Club Long Island Centre and the Jaguar Drivers Club of Long Island. Dec 30 - Boxing Day Run starting at the Cold Spring Harbor train station. Gather for socializing at 10:30AM and set out on the road some time after 11:00AM. Take a leisurely drive of about 40 miles through some scenic back roads and end at an nice restaurant for an optional lunch.
