Vanderbilt Invitational Concours

The Event is a Concours Sanitaire: judging is based solely on appearance, condition, and cleanliness. (Originality is not judged.) Entries 1983 or older will be judged. Newer cars are "Display Only – Not Judged." Held at the beautiful Vanderbilt mansion in Centerport NY.

CONCOURS: 10 classes, grouped by model year. Awards will be made to first three places in each class.

BEST IN SHOW: Concours class winners will be re-judged for Best in Show.

PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD: The favorite car in the show will be decided by a popular vote of the spectators.

DISPLAY CLASS: Model years 1984 or newer are Display only, and will not be judged. These entries are eligible 
for People’s Choice Award.

BEST DRIVEN AWARD: The best placing car, used at least 1,500 miles per year will be awarded "Best Driven" 
in each class.

BEST UNRESTORED AWARD: The best placing car in original unrestored condition (Judges’ discretion) 
will receive this award in each of the five oldest classes.

SPECIAL MARQUE CLASS: MG cars will also compete for a special Marque award.
