SPRIDGET 50 THE BIG PARTY
To say this was an amazing event is an understatement. I have had an MG for most of my adult life which is a long time considering I am almost 56 years old (2008). At other times I either had a Frogeye Sprite or, I am sad to say I did have a Vauxhall Chevette for a short while.However I have never whitnessed the sight of almost 1000 Spridgets in one place before, until this happened. The venue was the British Motor Heritage Centre at Gaydon and the date 24th May 2008
The event happened solely because of the internet friendships of many people and their ability to unite 5 clubs to celebrate the 50 birthday party of the Frogeye Sprite and it's following models of Sprites and Midgets.
From our point of view in the Midget Register of the MGCC, we were pleased to be part of this momumental occassion and we hope you enjoy the photos and video of the event.
