The Beachampton Natter annual Pride of Ownership and BBQ.
Because of the pub's closeness to Silverstone and the fact that it is on
Thursday 9th July, immediately prior to MG Live, it is being promoted as
a prelude to the main event. For those travelling a distance there is a
bed and breakfast farmhouse right next door to the pub, and only 13 miles
from Silverstone.

Show your Midget on our Midget Register stand at MG Live
The register would like to provide a members car to display in the central marquee at Silverstone this year. We would like to show a car that is representative of the cross section of our membership in its many forms, be it a well used, highly modified example, a concours or a historic vehicle. It will have to be at Silverstone from Thursday 9th until the end of the weekend and although secure at night will be on show without any barriers etc.
We would like to give our members the chance to offer their car for the display so if you can get your Midget to Silverstone and think it representative of a sector of our membership, send me a photo and a short description of why you think we should show your car. All entries by the end of May to :-
DYNO (ROLLING ROAD) at MGLive! 2009
Dont miss this great offer at our Silverstone meeting by the V8 Register. Through the Club team running the event and Club Office, we have arranged for rolling road specialists, Novatech, to have their dyno at MGLive! 2009. Novatech are offering 30 minute dyno sessions for roadgoing MGs which we feel will provide an additional attraction at the event which will be interesting for both members testing their MGs on the dyno and for spectators visiting the traders' area. We are running the online booking system and deposit payment system on the V8 website. Members can book a 30 minute slot online. September/October? 2009
Aldon Rolling Road Event:
Following our very successful rolling road shoot out last October at Aldon Automotive, the MGCC Midget Register is intending organising the same again for this year. Like last year this will take place towards the end of September or early October, to avoid Aldon's commitment to the racing fraternity. I require between ten and fourteen cars for the event to go ahead, and confirmations will be taken on a first come, first served basis. The costs are as last year, £25.00 for the basic power run, or approximately £40.00 for a more comprehensive check followed by the power run.
