The Arden MG Club was founded in September 1989 when a group of six MG enthusiasts met for the first time at the Golden Cross, Ardens Grafton, near Stratford-upon-Avon.
Since then, the Club has met every first Tuesday of the month and the membership has grown to some 100 members. The meetings are informal, along the lines of a ”Noggin and Natter.” There is no membership fee and the funds to cover the running costs are raised by a monthly raffle. The Club is affiliated to the MG Car Club Midland Centre and the MG Owners Club. Owners of pre 1956 cars, the Arden Octagon Group, meet on the last Tuesday of every month at the Blue Boar, Temple Grafton. 1993 saw the first Arden MG Club Heritage Run. It was the first Classic Car Run to visit the Heritage Motor Museum taking place the day after it was officially opened. 200 MG Cars left Stratford-upon-Avon, traveling through the lanes of Warwickshire on a journey of about 60 miles before arriving at the museum. Because of the success of the first Heritage Run, it has become an annual event with entries coming from all parts of the country. The number of cars participating range from 150 to 200 each year.

The Exeter Area MG Owners Club has now been in existence for 19 years and is the premier club for MG owners in Exeter, Torbay, South and East Devon. We cater for all MG models including the new MGF.
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month at The Stowey Arms, Exminster where we have a large private room for our meetings. The pub has a sizeable car park and grassed area for evening meetings in the summer months. Although a car club we do not talk exclusively about MGs and we think of ourselves more as a social club with MGs as a common thread. At each monthly meeting we have a raffle and usually some games or a guest speaker.
There is usually a Sunday lunch outing once a month to a different part of the county and we also have a couple of treasure hunts throughout the year when you can pit your wits against the twisted minds of those setting the clues.
There are many other activities including trips to classic car shows, visits to places of interest, ten pin bowling, motorsports etc. you name it or suggest it and we will do it. We also hold an annual rally during the first weekend in July consisting of a whole weekend's activities including a scenic run, BBQs, games and concours competition. The River Dart Rally now justifably has the reputation as one of the best MG weekends there is.
In addition a group takes an annual touring holiday in France camping in a different region each year enjoying the French way of life and helping to drain the European wine lake.
If you would like to know more about Exeter Area MGOC please phone Tim Hipwell on 01884 38343 or come to one of our monthly meetings at The Stowey Arms where you will receive a very warm welcome.

The Norwich Burblers
Based in Norwich, Norfolk.
Contact: Stuart Middlemiss stuart(at)lsak.fsnet.co.uk
The Norwich Burblers are starting a new regular monthly get-together for all MGs. The venue is The Angel Inn, at Larling, just off the A11 north-east of Thetford in Norfolk (the postcode is NR16 2QU, to enable an online map location).
We will meet on the 4th Friday evening of each month, same time, same venue, commencing 26th October, 2007.
The Norwich Burblers started out over a year ago just as an informal group of mostly RV8 owners around Norwich, very involved in the MGCC V8 Register. We now have Burblers all over the country, with various MG models (RV8/GTV8/V8 conversions/MGC/MGB/MGF plus the odd Healey), and would dearly like more to join us.
We will shortly register as an MGCC Natter, but this will not be the type of Natter (or MGOC group) where cliques sit in the corner, unwelcoming to newcomers, as some (but not all!) are. We're the friendliest of guys! Honest!
Anyway, come along and meet-up and see ... we look forward to meeting you!

The club meets at 7.30pm at the 'Rose Revived'pub on the FIRST WEDNESDAY of each month. The Rose Revived sits on the banks of the River Thames at Newbridge on the A415 Witney to Abingdon road just 2 miles north of the Kingston Bagpuise (honest) roundabout of the A420 Oxford/Swindon road. We welcome all MG enthusiasts. Whether your car is on the road or not, come along and check us out. This is NOT a male dominated club that sits around talking sprockets and widgets all night. We are real people with a love of MGs. In the lighter nights, make sure you are along by 8pm as we take advantage of the good weather and run out around the Oxfordshire lanes and normally 'invade' some unsuspecting pub in the area. We hope to see you soon.

A warm welcome awaits you at the South Leicester M. G. Club.
Our club is a friendly one, founded to encourage the enjoyment and excitement of MG motoring, many of our members have cars in various states of repair, some are concours winners, some are everyday cars and some are a big pile of bits that one day might take to the road again!
We have an active social calendar, usually with our cars in the summertime, but in the winter we still meet and enjoy skittles, quiz nights, talks, bowling and lots of other activities. What we don't do is spend a lot of time talking about cars - they're for driving!
You don't have to be a member of a National Club to meet with us, we are here to encourage owners of MG's in Leicestershire to meet and "ENJOY THE MAGIC OF THE MARQUE" we are affilated to the MGOC, MGCC and The Octagon Club.
Why not come along to one of our meetings! - There at The Olde Cock Inn, St Peters Road, Arnesby, Leicestershire - just of the Old A50 (A5199) about 5 miles south of Wigston on the first Tuesday of each month from 8pm onwards. Happy MG'ing
