The M.G. Car Club (Auckland Centre) Inc is affiliated to the U.K. M.G. Car Club and caters for the vintage M.G. owner through to current MG models providing activities for all interests and all ages. Each year the Club holds a wide range of events which usually includes the following: Concours, Trials, Motorkhanas, Speed Circuit Sprints, Hillclimbs, Autocross and Social Runs. Monthly Clubnights are held on the last Wednesday of each month (except December) with all owners and drivers of the M.G. marque being most welcome to attend. A monthly magazine is produced which gives details of forthcoming events, interesting articles, reports and technical information. Members have the opportunity to join an Insurance Scheme which is exclusively designed for Club members, however the insurer reserves the right of acceptance. The Club has an active Pre 56 Register which encompasses Vintage M.G.s through to T-Types as well as including MGAs, ZAs and ZBs. The Pre 56 Register operates as an integral part of the MGCC encouraging members to use and enjoy their cars by participating in both Register and main Club events. The Canterbury Centre is affiliated to the international MG Car Club and coordinates activities for MG enthusiasts in the South Island of New Zealand. The Club is very active and holds regular motoring events, news of which is published in it's monthly newsletter, The Canterbury MaG. Regular club nights are held on the first Friday of the month. The Nelson MG Register coordinates activities for MG owners and enthusiasts in the top half of the South Island of New Zealand. Prospective members join the MG Car Club (Canterbury Centre) and keep up with register events through Canterbury Centre's magazine, the Bulletin. The Register list over fifty cars in the Nelson/Marlborough region. We organise regular events and all MG owners and drivers (past, present or possibly future) are cordially invited to contact us.

Further Information:
The South Canterbury MG Owners Club was established more than 25 years ago to cater for MG Owners in South Canterbury and North Otago. Membership has now been extended to include all owners of Classic British Sports Cars. Club members meet bi-monthly for runs and other social events. Although not affiliated with the MG parent body we have about 50 cars registered and some very keen MG enthusiasts
