The FWD committee is as follows:

We have a variety of technical experts within the club and within the committee. Contact us and we will point you in the right direction, depending on which MG it is.
David Smith, has a full set of factory parts slides for Metro, Maestro and Montego models and can answer questions regarding parts applications for these models. He has also broken a couple of Montego EFIs & turbos recently and has a small stock of spares available. Email is best or phone evenings and weekends if urgent.
We also have technical advice for Metros and MG1100/1300s from Neil Cairns who is not formally on the committee due to his other commitments within the MGCC.
And finally, probably the quickest way to get an answer to a problem is to post a note on the MG BBS in the appropriate section for the FWD models.
We are always looking for volunteers. We have some enthusiastic committee members already - but we could really do with more help. Accounts - this is a post which is in need of filling. Currently MGCC HQ are covering this for us. But it would be nice if we could find someone in the register, with some accounts experience (or MS Excel spreadsheet skills), who could manage our accounts.
We also need general help at events so we can man a FWD register stand. It's difficult for the same half dozen people to do all of the work all of the time. The more volunteers we have means the less work is involved for each individual.
Benefits of being on the committee
Free admission to a number of MG shows. Discounts on some register regalia. Extra discounts from some MG traders. Being part of a team. Knowing that you are doing something positive to help promote FWD MG's in the MG world, and in the real world. Extra help and support with your own car from the rest of the committee, should you require it, if you have any problems.
MG 1100/1300
We would like to see some contributions from owners of MG
1100/1300, that includes technical notes and photographs, in fact
anything will do. These particular models are much neglected, so
come on lets hear from you soon!!
