Summer Runs

Summer was most defiantly with us for August, so we took full advantage with two excellent runs, the first being Jacqui & John's run and BBQ, which took place on the hottest day of the year, so as every one arrived back for the BBQ the first thing every one wanted was water! We needed to cool down the radiators of the poor old drivers and passengers who did not cope as well as our faithful MG's. The day was a great success and a very big thank you to both Jacqui & John for all the hard work that they had put into the day. I must be honest at this point and say that one car did break down with a faulty fuel pump or was it a case of the 'Bossom syndrome' ?
( Ray Bossom ran out of petrol on a previous run a couple years ago!! )

On the August bank holiday it was Mark & Claire's country run starting at the Green Man, Shepreth in Cambridgeshire, stopping on route for refreshments and ending up at the Fox in Finchingfield, in Essex for a spot of lunch which Mark had organized with the landlord. The residents in the center of the village were there, out in full force to welcome us, and as you can see where quiet happy to share our lunch and have a "quack" at us.
