April Newsletter 2004

The first meeting of the month started with a good old “squeeze” of Ray's feely bags, and before you think we have lost the plot let me explain, Ray fills several cloth bags with small car parts, or kitchen implements which you have to work out what each item is by just feel alone.

World sites was the quiz for the second meeting of the month, and what a quiz it was, Dave Coventry had spent nearly a year putting together this fantastic pictorial quiz which got the old grey matter working, and a bit of healthy debate broke out regarding where certain pictures were taken from, and there location in the world.

Friday the 19th March we joined up for a quiet, no I do not think “quiet” is the word to describe the meal we had at the Thai Yuen Restauraunt in Toft. Like last year the table groaned under the amount of food we all got through, and a little wine of course, which all added to create an evening of great conversation and laughter, many thanks to Robin & Joyce for organizing the evening, and a also big thanks to the staff at the Thai Yuen.
David Parker.
