Parkers Piece

Hello once more from Cambridge

The excellent weather in March has given everyone a boost to get the polish out and give all our MG's a good clean and blow through on the roads, which was reflected in our second meeting of the month with the pub car park having a good selection of old and new MG's including a beautiful 1953 MG TF which new members, Ron & June, had just bought as a retirement present. Although if you ask me they act far to young to be retired, or is that the charm of the car making them act young at heart!

Plans are advancing fast for our 'Charity Fun Day' later in the year....
Full details coming soon, but meanwhile, please make sure you keep Saturday 7th June free!

You Want MORE!!!

Friday the 28th was our dinning night out at the Tai Yuen, and as you can see from the picture below every one was tucking into the food which was luck since all you paid was a set price and then you order what ever you like and as often as you like from the menu, to which I would like to thank Robin for ordering ALL 54 dishes, (twice or was it three times), and then asking if anyone wanted to order desert, at this point my good lady and I bailed out with a glass of water and a coffee, however I nearly fell off my chair when I looked around the table to find nearly everyone else with there hands up for pudding.
