1954TF This is 'Harriet', our TF-1500, named after the first woman in the US to become a licensed pilot and the first woman to fly the English Channel solo. Harriet now resides in Northern California and really likes the foothill drives. She shares a stable with a '65 -B. This may be the only TF-1500 on the West Coast of the USA that has been to England and the USA twice as she made a journey back to England in the early 90's for a tour. Another view

1950 TDMy Dad, Richard C. Adams, operated a Shell service station on the South shore of Long Island, New York.( 1947-1957) During that time we acquired the blue MG in the photo, and with that came a new circle of friends as well as customers. One TC, seven TD's and three TF's. I mention this, because we maintained these cars and can offer information and stories to those interested. On the left is Henry Kraaz, TD/FordV8-60 motor, Al Clenaghan 53TD, Jerry Kraaz 51TD, and me Richard C. Adams, Jr. My Dad and I live in Ocala, Florida now, and yes I would love to know what happened to my blue one.   Addendum: If you would like to reminisce about those wonderful all night trips from Long Island to Watkins Glen the first weekend in October. When passing or being passed by 4 or 5 MG's in a row with just the green glow of the instruments haunting your memory. The sound of the exhaust echoing off the buildings of small towns as we passed through at 2AM, then drop me a line.

1950 TDThis is a photo of my 1950 TD No. 00780
It was purchased as a pile of rusty parts with most of the woodwork rotted away and lots of bits missing, badly worn or broken.
I rebuilt it as a lightweight "Special" for use in Club events. It is fitted with a 1622 cc MGA engine and gearbox, Suspension modifications, alloy fuel tank and cycle guards.

1937 TAJust bought this beauty. It`s a TA 1937 (1607) and it`s supposed to have been imported here to Denmark from new. Any comments/history would be highly appreciated. It Will be restored within the next couple of years (I hope...)

1954 MGTF 1250 6688. This car is in the original state when built at Abingdon, with exception of some tyres, battery, hoses, exhaust header and a top. We have owned it for three years. It was bought in Germany, shipped to USA in '54 and sold to a relative in '55. It's had lots of TLC and maintenance over the years. It has 31,000 miles on the odometer and is an exceptional "driver". I had the good fortune to actually drive this car for a weekend 35 years ago, never dreaming that I would one day own it. It's a great original reference car, which is how we plan to keep it! MG TF This is a picture of my MG TF1500 which I rebuilt from a basket case. It was pushed into a barn in 1960 after the crankshaft broke and they decided not to repair the car. The years were not kind to it (the boy of the family took a hammer to everything that appeared to need bashing). It was rebuilt over two years and is now roadworthy.

52 MG TD my 1952 MGTD. It has a frame off restoration and I have enjoyed it for a year and a half now. I owned a 1978 MG Midget and the TD has brought back some memories and has created some new ones.

MG TF 1500 I have been fortunate to recently acquire this TF after a long search. The Enthusiasts Web Site provided a great source of options having placed an advert on the Members Page. The car I purchased was offered to me by a person who saw my advert. Although I did not want a white TF, the specimen proved too much of a temptation!

MG TC This is a car I was to buy my father, but sadly the deal fell thru. This is the Side View of the car. I wonder who owns it now?
1949 TC I truly enjoyed your MG page and it brought back a good deal of nostalgia for the MG TC that I once owned. It was a 1949 TC, restored in 1960-62 and then sold in Seattle, Wash. It was British Racing Green with WW Derrington windscreens, otherwise quite stock. Wish I had it now to share with my son.

MG goes to University Taken in 1961 or 62 at the front of Hazelrigg and Rutland Halls of residence at Loughbough, this shows all of the MG's that were owned by students at that time. They range from M-type to TF. From left to right my notes say TC, PB, PA, TA, TC, TC, PA, TF, TC, TC, TA and M-type. I wonder how many of them are still about?
