New addition the introduction of video clips.
Our first is a TV commercial screened in the USA'One jump ahead' ( file size 1.3mb )
The idea behind this major MGB TV advertising commercial was to declare
that MG was "one jump ahead" of the opposition. The car was parachuted
on a timber crate and the driver parachuted separately, the idea being
to land, get out of his parachute harness, jump into the MGB and drive
it off as "the opposition" drove across scrubland behind. All fine in
theory. Unfortunately, on the first take, the MGB's parachute failed to
open, and the car fell sveral thousand feet to the desert floor. The end
result would have made a custom car low-rider envious, as the poor MGB
ended up about fourteen inches thick. On the second take, thankfully,
things went as planned. This advert was certainly a classic, and I
believe that it may have won an industry award. Funnily enough, I have
pencilled this advert in for further research as part of a commission I
am working on; if anyone has any useful leads, I'd love to know more! -

Hopefully this will take less than a year.
