The Easter Run
30 March 1997
Would you like to Join us on Easter Sunday?
The Cambridge & District MGOC Easter Run features a coffee stop in Rodbridge Picnic Site at Long Melford and a free look over an assortment of Rolls Royce & Bentley cars at a prestigious showroom at Great Eastern in Essex.
This tour of attractive Suffolk and North Essex villages will take approximately three hours and will cover about sixty miles. There is the possibility of getting your tyres wet if there has been some rain, although I have avoided several fords (not the cars!)
The starting point is: 'The Common' Car Park, Saffron Walden, Essex, 10.30am.
If you are approaching Saffron Walden from the M11/Royston, then turn off at the Duxford exit and follow the signs for Saffron Walden on the A505. At the roundabout by the BP garage on the A505 turn right onto the A1301 and continue straight following the signposts to Saffron Walden.
In Saffron Walden, turn left at the traffic lights, and then bear left at the juction. The common car park is then on your right.
Please bring a drink with you for the coffee break.
Final stop is the 'The White Hart', Debden approx 2.00pm.
If you intend to join us on this run, please email Kelvin and he will pass your details onto me.
I must have fairly accurate numbers for the Rolls Royce dealership, numbers are limited so get your names down today.
The run is free, the raffle tickets are not!
