This year, 2001, will see the MGOC Racing Championships 21st Anniversary, and you will find all the latest news, pictures, and gossip right here. All the photographs and race reports on this page are by MG Motorsports photographer Kelvin Fagan, who has had work published in numerous MG publications including 'MG World', 'MG Enthusiast Magazine', 'Saftey Fast' and of course 'Enjoying MG' the MGOC's own club magazine.
For 2001 Race Championship has a new sponsor in the form of Custom Lifts. Customs Lifts are an established, but still expanding company who deal with anything lift related. From service & maintenance to modernisation and new lift installation they can help. This high performance company are delighted to be involved in the high performance world of motor sport. Last year sponsoring the successful Midget of John Hewitt, incidentally the winner of our first Championship in 1981, they have now committed themselves further to motorsport in the form of sponsoring the 2001 MGOC Race Championship, now to be know as the Custom Lifts/MG Owners' Club 2001 Race Championship. Most of the images are shot using a NIKON 801s 35mm Camera. A variety of professional lenses are used, mostly NIKON. 50mm, 28-70mm, 75-300mm and the only non-nikon lens a Vivitar 400mm. Film stock used is by KODAK, either Kodacolor Gold 200 or Kodacolor Gold 400. Kelvin who has been in photography for 25 years, started in motorsport photography at the Santa Pod Raceway dragstrip in the mid 1970's.
