 MEMBERS:

Carol R. Smith - Carol, wife of Dick Smith, was an active participant in British Car Events since 1966. She was a member of the Museum, the MG Car Club and the Ohio Mini Owners. Her personal car was a 1978 MGB which she loved to show and placed at British Car Days in Dayton, Ohio and other car shows.

John Clark - John, a very close supporter of the Museum, has been an active member of the Miami Valley Triumph Club for many years and proudly showed his beautiful Triumph Spitfire at many area car shows, being a consistent winner with the immaculate vehicle.

Hrach Chekijian – Hrach was a one-of-a-kind person, great personality, awesome humor and lots of goodwill and appreciation for everyone.  He will be missed by so very many.  Hrach was and early donor to the Museum, providing the Museum’s 3rd car, the Austin A35.  While Hrach was employed by MINI of Peabody in Peabody, MA, where he was a top salesman of the new MINI,  he was into the Classic Mini to great depth and attended the Annual Mini Meets over many, many years.  There he shared his wit, humor and knowledge with all.

Barbara J. Smith – Barbara, wife of Dick Smith, was a very happy and outgoing person and loved the people in the MC Car Club, and Ohio Mini Owners club and was a great Museum supporter.   Barbara was an avid gardener and bird watcher enjoying her time in the yard nurturing growth of her favorite flowers.  Barbara had a great hummingbird following at her home.  A dedicated reader, Barbara shared her books with family and friends.

 

 FRIENDS:

John Lucente - John, a long time active member of the Southwestern Centre of the MG Car Club, had two beautiful MG's, a MGTD and his prize MGA. John loved showing his MG's and participated in many long drives with his cars to National shows and events.

Mike Oricko - Mike owned a MG Midget which he and his Son Tim drove to many events and activities sponsored by the MG Car Club and other local car clubs. Mike was always supportive of the Club and it's activities and along with his wife Mary were consistent participants at Club Meetings.

Tony Pareseau - Tony was a man liked by all, with his constant smile and good humor. Tony's MGB was very special to him, very well prepared and always well taken care of. Tony and his wife Peggy joined the MG Car Club in many events. He served as an officer of the club at various times. Tony was a strong supporter and friend of the British Museum of Transportation. We all miss him very much.
